Lawn Mowing
Our seasonal lawn care program consists of six applications from spring to fall including fertilizing, weed control and grub control. It provides your turf with all of the needed nutrients to keep it looking thick, lush and weed free all season long.
Core aeration is a mechanical process that puts small holes in the ground reducing soil compaction and allowing oxygen to the root system. Seed is simultaneously dropped in the holes for germination creating a rejuvenated stand of turf after a hot/dry summer. Recommended in the fall months August-October.
Weekly service that includes mowing, weed-whacking, and blowing all of the clippings off of hard surfaces. Performed throughout the growing season April-November.

Whitford Lawn Services was founded in 2008 by Michael Pomante, beginning its routes as both a lawn and landscape company. As business began to increase, so did all of the usual challenges of growing a small business within the service industry. From day one our mission statement was to deliver a top-quality, dependable, attention-to-detail service to our customers without compromise and felt we needed to pick one overall area of focus in order to do so. Our true passion was turfgrass, so the decision was easy. Since 2015, we have been focused exclusively on providing a full range of lawn care services to homeowners in the Exton, Downingtown and West Chester areas. Our main services are Fertilizing/Weed Control, Aeration/Overseeding and Weekly Mowing. We understand a homeowners need for quality, reliable services that deliver consistent and satisfying results. We are fully licensed, insured and educated in cool-season turfgrass.
